$2.1 Million Settlement For Victim In Car Crash
A local woman seriously injured in a car accident on Route 6 in 2004 received a $2.1 million settlement recently, her lawyer said. The Victim was disabled by the accident, which occurred Oct. 19, 2004, near Burnap Brook Road in Andover. A car traveling in the opposite direction crossed the center line and collided head-on with a car the Victim's was a passenger in, the Victim's lawyer, Jason McCoy of Vernon, said. No one died in the accident. The Victim, 56, a widow with two children, suffered numerous broken bones in her left arm and leg. The injuries have limited the amount of time the Victim can stand, sit and walk without pain, he said.
